William Krepick, Chairman
Bill is a business executive and former CEO of Macrovision. He led Macrovision from a small single technology private company through IPO in 1997 and went on to build the company through internal growth and acquisitions to achieve annual revenues over $200M and market cap over $1 billion.
Bill has over 30 years experience in high tech marketing/executive roles and holds an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from Stanford University.
Andrew McLennan, CEO
Formerly a games industry veteran, Andrew is an entrepreneur and has founded 5 start up companies since 1993, including Metaforic.
Andrew has held all the key management roles in start ups including CEO, CCO, and COO. A software specialist, he has created startups across the supply chain.
Andrew has an honors degree in Mechanical Engineering with Aerodynamics.
Linda MacKellar, COO
Linda is a specialist in IP/IT Law and has worked with pioneering law firms in this area as well as running her own legal practice. She has held in house commercial roles since 2001, and has founded three start ups including Metaforic.
Linda has an honors degree LLB and the DipLP from Dundee University and a Master of Laws degree in Computer and Information Technology Law from Strathclyde University.
Neil Stewart, CTO
Neil is a software engineer and a fifteen year veteran of the games industry.
Neil headed up both technology research and game production at several game developers, holding roles from Lead Programmer to Chief Technical Officer before co-founding Metaforic.
Neil is an honors graduate in Computer Science from Stirling University.
Sandy McKinnon, Non-Executive Director
Sandy joined Metaforic’s Board of Directors in June 2008. He has over 18 years experience in commercialising technology innovations, the last 7 of these as a partner with Pentech.
Experienced in protecting and licensing his and his groups’ own IP, Sandy has also provided deep technical and market due-diligence services in many sectors for a variety of blue-chip companies and VCs. Sandy has a Ph.D. and a B.Sc. in Physics.
Craig Anderson, Non-Executive Director.
Craig trained as a chartered accountant with Arthur Andersen and spent nine years with the firm. He left to become group financial controller with tyre company Kwik-Fit. He joined Edinburgh-based 3D medical imaging company Voxar as chief financial officer and chief operating officer. After the sale of Voxar to Belgian group Barco in September 2004, he stayed on as managing director to oversee the handover.
Most recently, Craig was CEO at Nallatech, a technology and market innovator in high-performance computing. Under his leadership, the company was especially active in the military and aerospace sector in the US. In May 2008 Nallatech was sold to US-based Interconnect Systems Inc.
